Where Journalism Meets Community Voice

The International Conference on Family Planning (ICFP) 2025 has officially launched its LIVE Stage, marking a bold new chapter in how global health stories are told. This unique community space transforms traditional conference reporting into a living newsroom, one where journalists, youth reporters, and community storytellers collaborate in real time to capture the heartbeat of the SRHR movement.

Conducted in a fully virtual format, the School aims to ensure accessibility and inclusion, bringing together a diverse group of approximately 100 selected youth representing different genders, sexual orientations, gender identities, ethnic backgrounds, and disabilities. This diversity reflects FP2030 LAC Hub’s commitment to promoting equity and representation in the sexual and reproductive health and family planning agenda.

The FP2030 Youth Wave unites over 400 youth activists in Latin America and embodies FP2030’s promise to ensure that adolescents and youth are not just beneficiaries of programs, but decision-makers and co-creators in building solutions that reflect their realities. It’s a call to action to governments, organizations, and communities: meaningful youth participation is not optional, it’s essential.
